I used the Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth on my pedalboard for years. I loved the pedal, but a couple things about it irritated me.
One, it flips the polarity of your signal, making it impossible to blend with a clean DI tone live.
Second, I felt like even though my gain was increasing, my overall volume when using the pedal would be inconsistent.
